David Oladejo is an alumnus of Carleton University with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Business for Engineers. Over his 5 years at Carleton, David was involved in virtually every program offered through the Student Experience Office. In his final year of University, he was elected as the President of the Carleton University Students' Association, serving in office for the 2018-19 term. After graduating, David moved to Toronto and started working in the tech industry. He's now an Account Executive for Shopify, enjoying all the benefits that working remotely for a tech company offers. He enjoys travelling every chance that he gets, playing in various city sports leagues, and spending quality time with friends and family.
In this episode, David discusses how he recovered from receiving a vote of no-confidence in his first general CUSA election, the lessons he learned in marketing and advocating for himself, and how he's since been able to use self-branding in his career today.

Andrew Kellie is a Carleton graduate and arts worker, currently working as the Strategic Initiatives and Special Events Coordinator at the Ottawa Art Gallery. Throughout their studies in a Bachelors of Global & International Studies at Carleton, Andrew was involved with a number of different elements of campus life, from being a Summer Orientation Leader and writing for The Charlatan, to volunteering for the ISSO and the Campus Activity Board - just to name just a few! Now, in their role at the Ottawa Art Gallery, they continue their path of involvement by managing community partnerships and planning events that bring art to the Ottawa public. In this episode, Andrew explains how to get involved on campus, the benefits of being involved, and how to balance your extracurriculars with your education and personal life.

Sharon Nyangweso, founder and CEO of QuakeLab, immigrated from Kenya to Canada to attend Carleton University. As an international student, Sharon was balancing academics with working and trying to find free time. Sharon's time at Carleton was interrupted and she had to take a year off before continuing her program.

Keenan Reynolds is studying political science with a focus on international relations at Carleton University. Prior to his time at Carleton, he played junior hockey with the Ontario Hockey League and the CCHL.
