Life Skills 101 - David Oladejo: Self-Branding - LS101

David Oladejo is an alumnus of Carleton University with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Business for Engineers. Over his 5 years at Carleton, David was involved in virtually every program offered through the Student Experience Office. In his final year of University, he was elected as the President of the Carleton University Students' Association, serving in office for the 2018-19 term. After graduating, David moved to Toronto and started working in the tech industry. He's now an Account Executive for Shopify, enjoying all the benefits that working remotely for a tech company offers. He enjoys travelling every chance that he gets, playing in various city sports leagues, and spending quality time with friends and family.

In this episode, David discusses how he recovered from receiving a vote of no-confidence in his first general CUSA election, the lessons he learned in marketing and advocating for himself, and how he's since been able to use self-branding in his career today.
